There is a fancy entertained by conservative talk show hosts, like Sean and Neal, that the journalists in the democrat media, whose specialty is fiction, may actually believe they are reporting in a fair and balanced way, and not deliberately slanting the news.
Bernard Goldberg, in his book on the subject: "Bias", is also of that fancy.
Their tacit premise is that people like Jennings, Rather, Brokaw, the hacks at CNN, et al. are delusional.
"Tell me where is fancy bred?  
Or in the heart or in the head?
How begot, how nourished?"
No sane person could possibly air selected items, or deliberately bury or quickly brush aside stories, because they are about felonies of democrats (Sandy Berger) or the United Nations - Iraqi oil for food bribes, (socialists) and not know exactly what he is doing.
They gave The Rapist an eight year pass, and even now let him off Scot free, so as not to damage the reputation of the democrat party.
What more does anyone need to prove their willful bias?
No investigation of his rapes, his batteries, the over 50 murders, or so called suicides or accidents, of people associated with the Clintons.
Isn't that so absolutely ridiculous, that a president of the United States, a Baptist from little old Arkansas, could be the initiator of murders on that scale? Rapes?
Why its laughable. What is he, Caligula? MacBeth and Lady MacBeth?
How paranoid! Another right wing kook theory!
It is merely a statistical anomaly that these murdered people had direct dealings with the Clintons!
No, this is not six degrees of Kevin Bacon.

They make farcical investigations, on occasion, such as the 60 minute fairy tale on the death of Vince Foster, ending with Mike Wallace coming out of the Laundromat with a white wash.

I suppose if the Clintons ever swing from a cottonwood tree, Vince would have a peaceful requiem.
Whatever else, the media is sane and committed; though to any informed person, such as these same media people, the democrat-socialist philosophy they espouse promotes widespread poverty and human misery.
Impoverishing, and making dependent, the average American, is the calculated, conscious aim of the left wing media and the democrat party.
Poverty among Americans promotes television viewing, as poor people have little choice in entertainment or other disposition of their leisure time.
Larger TV audiences, mean greater power and more money to these egotists, and unlike some media people with integrity, like Lisa Myers and Brit Hume, and Fox News in general, money and power is the religion of these people.
We will never forget Lisa's documentary on Clinton's brutal rape of Juanita Broderick, where he almost bit her lip off, and while NBC was trying to spike the story, we will also never forget, Brit's "Free Lisa Myers" button.
Brent Bozell, in his new book, "Weapons of Mass Distortion", gives hundreds of examples of media bias, for those who want details.
In their reporting of the war, the democrat media gives aid and comfort to terrorists, as terror attacks make for increased viewing of the news.
Call them "insurgents". Call them "militants".
But never call them terrorists; that might discourage them in some way.
Interfering with our government making terrorists talk, as in Abu Ghraib, and also interfering with finding, arresting, prosecuting, or killing of terrorists is a priority for them.
Less terror attacks mean less TV viewing, less money and power for Jennings-Rather-Brokaw.
"J, do you know what you just wrote?".
"He knows, doctor, he knows."
"Let's get the hell out of here."
Elephants have not forgotten that men of evil, like Stalin, Cinton, Mrs. Clinton, oh sorry, she's not a man have always existed, and will continue to exist.
Jackasses, having a memory span of a nanosecond, can't believe humans could be that bad.
Somehow I feel sorry for the jackass.
A humble animal, who nature "gave once her flowers to love, her ways to roam".
A dumb beast, burdened by man, that works hard, and asks for little.
(A frame of mind unknown to democrats.)
And it is the symbol of the party of human degradation.
I wonder if the democrats would consider another symbol. Say: O. J. Simpson?

And let the jackass go back to the farm, shucked of its unasked for burden of shame.
Sean and Neal, rationalize the actions of their friends or acquaintances in the democrat media. It is the grease that makes for everyday living with them.
In an essay, Cicero states that friendship is only possible between men of virtue.
Does Sean really think his friend, Lanny Davis, is virtuous?
Davis is a partisan liar, who put on a sham show of concern, when The Rapist went in for quadruple bypass surgery. As if Davis was totally innocent of the knowledge of The Rapist's felonies, and his death on the operating table would not at least be an end to further crimes he could commit; though justice would still not be fully served by anything less than Clinton's public trial and public execution for
a) treason b) murder c) because it would be fun d) it would create employment for hangmen and carpenters e) all of the above.
Further, Cicero notes:
"The real limit to be observed in friendship is this: the characters of two friends must be stainless. There must be complete harmony of interests, purpose, and aims, without exception."
So much for alleged friendship between Sean and Davis.
Utopians, who want to help people, are emotional, rather than cerebral in hearing the news.
Frequently these people have no real interest in the details of politics, and buy into the democrat "caring" snake oil, because it echoes their real concern for humanity.
Such people are often honorable and make charming friends.
With lying democrat partisans, friendship is not possible, only something in the shadows, where each party uses the other for its own purposes.
"Where is comfort? In division of the records of the mind?
Can I part her from herself, and love her as I knew her, kind?"
We part our friends who think they are democrats from their philosophies, we part them from themselves.
As they do we.
Sometimes they are politically awakened by Rush, or Sean, or Neal, or others in public or private life.
Sometimes they are not. C'est la vie.
But aside from politics we have "laughter learned of friends", and that is enough.
Are our problems more complicated than in the Rome of two millennia ago?
God knows.
If "complete harmony" was possible then, it surely is rarer now.
William F. Buckley Jr. decades ago, remarked that young people today would rather betray their country, than betray their friend.
Now, those once young people have a name: Clinton, Kerry, Edwards.
Betrayal of country, and the ideals of freedom, is the template of the democrats.
Dan Rather may be guilty of treason, giving aid and comfort to Saddam Hussein, as Ronald Reagan remarked about Walter Cronkite, and the latter's canard about the Tet offensive.
I never knew we won that offensive, or what Reagan said about Cronkite.

If Ann Coulter says something, I believe it. And decades before Ann, if William F. Buckley Jr. said something, I believed him, and still take his word to the bank.
Then the broadcast media had a monopoly.
Now, through the Internet and cable, and Paul Harvey and talk shows, and others, the truth gets out.
Endemic socialism has pervaded the media for generations and is perpetuated by the deliberate hiring of people who will continue their culture of treason, with a few conservatives thrown in, for lagniappe.

This is a common and oft repeated logical fallacy. The big corporations that own the various media outlets do not determine policy, the producers and editors (who are usually overwhelmingly liberal) do.

I want to say that the woman who accused Clinton of raping her was Juanita Broadrick. If I recall correctly, the Big Three News networks declined to interview her because the accusation was so tawdry. She got almost zero coverage...now compare that to Cindy Sheehan.

Oh...and a correspondent who went to pre-interview Ms. Broadrick said that she and her story were "very credible". Despite that, the Big Three refused to do their job and cover it.
