Just a Thought …
President Obama appoints a bureaucrat, a so-called Pay Czar, to make sure executives whose companies the government bailed out don’t get paid too much. Pay should be tied to performance, the argument goes. Okay, then let’s take a cold, hard look at all the members of Congress.
Like the executive in the private sector, they take money from the American taxpayer, too. And they got us so deep in the hole we may never get out. If we tied their salaries to performance, they’d have to pay all of us!

Good point, and one I’ve been making since I became aware of politics. The problem, however, lies in getting Congress to cut its own pay.
