I agree that there is an incredible amount of media bias when it comes to a Republican being caught in one kind of sex scandal or another. I do have to say that this should be a "wake up" call to those Republicans who run on a traditional values platform. 2010 is around the corner and if there are any Republicans running for office who are doing something contrary to what they are preaching---it's time to clean house! People are sick and tired of this kind of shananigans especially coming from Republicans. Duh!!! don't some of these people know that they are going to found out sooner or later?

Did you ever notice how liberal Democrats (whether they are secretaries, cab drivers, etc) make it their life's mission to snoop and leak lurid details about conservatives .... while conservatives are not nearly as aggressive or invasive in snooping on a Democrat.

I worked in the newspaper business for years, and I can tell you from experience that 95% of the scandal "tips" we got always came from Democrat sources... and they always demanded anonymity.

Could not agree more. In fact I believe it is a tactical strategy. In looking at the left wing sites it is all about making the Republican Party irrelevant. I went to college over 30 years ago but learned the value of a two party system. Being from Minnesota I saw how a third party guarantees an election of a Governor such as Ventura when they do not achieve a majority vote. Regardless of what Jessie says, the majority of Minnesota Voters voted against him. Now we have not only left wingers but a Democratic Party supported by a left wing media doing everything they can to destroy the Republican Party. And the results are a socialist agenda that will be determined by perhaps the most left wing congress in the history of our country.

You hit the nail on the head regarding media bias. Democrat adulterers are treated lightly while Republicans are tarred and feathered. But, why are we surprised? It's been like that for years. Bill Clinton was able to keep his job because feminists and the media loved him. A Republican pulling that crap would've been run out of town by sundown.

The GOP Sex connection began immediately after the announcement. I was sickened by the entire pack mentality to remind us of all the GOP sex romps and how it seems to be a 'pattern'. The NY Times, with two front page stories, blazing, "More Bad News For Republicans" to the screaming Drudge Report, "She Is From Argentina". Enough.

I have Governor Paterson acting like a mini dictator, demanding action, threatening to call the State Police, North Korea wanting to wipe the US off the map, Obama writing letters to the Supreme Leader before the election, Barney Frank getting away with what was partly the cause of our economic fall, Russia buying a bank with 4.4 Billion from Chavez and we are worried about a man who has an affair?

Granted, what he did, with just going off the radar is not right and that should be dealt with within the state of South Carolina - but is that the focus of the analysis, no, the focus? Sex.

Sex, blood and fire seems to get the attention of the media - while the causes of the fire and the blood are ignored for the glory of the headline.

When we, amateurs, Tweeting, blogging, co hosting talk shows on internet site can do more hard news than those that we expect it from and need it from - Bernie we have a serious problem.
