The Truth About Muslims and the Fourth Estate

If you depend on the mainstream media — and why would anyone? – you would come to believe that Muslims are decent, law-abiding people and Christian conservatives are blood-thirsty ogres. It is because of promoting such head-spinning balderdash that the American press has earned the contempt of millions of us.

Instead of speaking truth to power, they roll over for Obama and the Democrats. In dictatorships, you expect journalists to be propagandists because to be otherwise doesn’t mean you lose your job; it means you lose your life.

It used to be that journalists took pride in adopting a policy of independence and objectivity. So far as the political parties were concerned, their attitude was a pox on both their houses. But that is all in the past. Like the zombies who used to pass for journalists at Pravda, they are all card-carrying, dues-paying, members of the socialist regime. They no longer worry about meeting deadlines and scooping the competition, only in promoting a left-wing agenda. If they were canines, they would perpetually have all four legs waving in the air, waiting for Obama to rub their little round bellies.

The Left is always talking about favoring free speech, but it’s a lie. The only speech they ever defend is their own. They speak about the 1st Amendment in such hallowed terms, you would think they had invented it. But when it suits them, they regard it as the .5th Amendment.

Speaking of the media, I would like someone to explain to me why Private Bradley Manning is in the stockade, awaiting his court martial trial, and Julian Assange is hiding out in the Ecuadorean embassy in London, fighting extradition to the U.S., for their part in disseminating national security secrets through Wikileaks, but the folks at the NY Times are not under arrest for publishing the national security secrets that the Obama administration furnished them. I’m really not sure what effect Manning and Assange’s contemptible actions had, but I know that, thanks to the Times, there’s a Pakistani doctor who is serving a 33-year sentence for his part in pointing us to Osama bin Laden’s hidey hole.

That brings us to Muslims. All over the world, we’ve seen those people burning and killing, allegedly in response to a video or a promo for a video nobody appears to have actually seen. Now it’s bad enough that a religion that has a billion faithful scattered all over the place is the looniest on earth. But by this time, we in what continues to pass for the civilized world have come to expect nothing else of those fanatical goons. They never seem to have the time or inclination to write a book, paint a picture, compose a symphony or cure a disease, but they’re always up for a bloody riot.

The problem is that far too many people continue to pay lip service to these creeps simply because they commit their evil in the name of a religion. If they did it in the name of a country, the way that the Nazis, the fascists and the communists, did, we’d all feel free to call them the names they deserve. Instead, our leaders all have to mince words and feign respect in order to be politically correct.

This isn’t a partisan issue. After all, after 9/11, we had eight years of Bush and Rice soft-soaping the Middle East rabble. How often did we have occasion to cringe as our president and secretary of state insisted that people who wanted us dead were a bunch of saints? It’s no truer now than it was when Muhammad tried to convert the world to Islam by killing those who didn’t buy the idea that a religious prophet could also be a pedophile and who didn’t happen to believe that Mecca was the center of the universe or that Islam was in any way, shape or form, an improvement on Judaism or Christianity.

We even have left-wing American intellectuals calling for this video to be destroyed and we now have a different president and secretary of state apologizing to the mob. A number of yellowbellies on the Left liken the video to yelling “Fire!” in a crowded theater, thus overlooking two salient facts. The first is that if a fire breaks out in a theater, crowded or otherwise, calling attention to that fact is the right thing to do; the second is that if we curtail our freedom of speech in order to accommodate bottom-feeders halfway across the world, we are as bad, if not worse, than they are. They at least are willing to stand up for what they believe, as pigheaded as what they believe happens to be.

Perhaps people need to be reminded that as far as Muslims are concerned, this latest war against the United States and modern society didn’t begin with the murder of Ambassador Stevens and his three colleagues in Libya. It also didn’t begin on 9/11/01. It didn’t even begin with the attack on the USS Cole in 2000, the bombings of our embassies in Africa, in 1998, or even the first attack on the Trade Center back in 1993. Furthermore, it didn’t begin with the attack on our Marine base in Beirut, in 1983, which left 299 Marines dead. It actually began back in 1978, after Jimmy Carter pulled the rug out from under the Shah of Iran, allowing the Ayatollah Khomeini and his drooling followers to take control of Iran. Under the new order, it wasn’t all that surprising that their first order of business was to abduct and hold 52 American hostages for 444 days. In other words, this war which we seem so reluctant to acknowledge has been going on for over 30 years.

As an historical sidebar, it’s worth noting that the hostages were released a few minutes after Ronald Reagan moved into the White House. It no doubt helped that it never occurred to President Reagan to even pretend that he held Islam in particularly high esteem and that he was quite prepared to do whatever it took to gain their freedom.

If we had been at war with Nazi Germany for 33 years, do you seriously believe that anybody in the United States would have been worrying about a video that ridiculed Hitler?

I swear if one more American leader repeats the lie that Islam is a religion of peace, I want those six words tattooed across his forehead so that he’s mocked every damn time he leaves the house.

Burt said a mouthful. I tend to agree with the statement that Islam is not a peaceful religion. Yes I realize there are Muslims that are peaceful but before the world accepts the fact that Islam is peaceful, the peace loving Muslims must condemn and yes prosecute the radicals who are giving their religion a bad name. That would be a game changer.

It never fails to astonish that when some particular group is accused of having violent tendencies, they respond by rioting, burning and murder.  Of course, excuses for such actions will always be forthcoming from the usual suspects.

“The Left is always talking about favoring free speech, but it’s a lie. The only speech they ever defend is their own.”

That may be the truest line written.  Excellent article!

Alden: Thank you, Alden.  You may be right, but I can not choose between my children.

Good one Burt.   The Muslims I know living in the US basically came here or their forefathers came here for the same reasons as my grandparents.  They wasted to get away from the nuttiness in their home countries & a better life.  I just wish a lot  more of them would speak up & denounce the fanatics.

    • BurtPrelutsky

Bruce A: I believe they are Muslims first and everything else is a distant second.  In much the same way, most of my fellow American Jews are left-wingers first, last and always.  Those who believe that the survival of Israel is more important to them than Obama’s re-election are, alas, hopelessly naive.

Burt, I actually did watch the preview video  for “Innocence of Muslims”. I actually thought it was almost funny. It should not be seen as any more offensive than an episode of South Park or the average statement by Bill Maher. People who would commit violence based on a movie like that belong in prison for life. Even that is too generous for such people because the costs of prison are more than such individuals deserve.

Not a day passes where there is not some violent act being perpetrated by people who justify their acts using the Koran. A few weeks ago there was a story of a Muslim preacher in Pakistan accusing a 12 year old girl of blasphemy. This could have led to her receiving the death penalty. It was later discovered that the preacher had made up the whole story. I would not be surprised if she had refused his sexual advances and thus he made up this story against her.

There was another story out there about how one Buddhist had a picture on his website with a burnt Koran. An angry Muslim mob used this as an excuse to rape, pillage, and plunder any Buddhists they could find. This is the sort of thing that happens on an almost daily basis somewhere in the world. Homicidal/suicidal bombings are so frequent that they are not given much attention by the media. Imagine being a Christian or a Jew in a Muslim dominated society. If one Christian or one Jew made a statement that Muslims considered offensive then all Christians and all Jews would be in danger. I am glad you are not afraid to write what you believe on this matter.

Brendan:  The way I see it, if I back down, the barbarians win.
These creatures riot because it is the only thing they’re capable of doing.  Any excuse will do: rumor of a burnt Koran, a teddy bear named Muhammad, a cartoon, Gitmo remaining open, an Old or New Testament, a woman not wearing a burkah…you name it and they’ll be only too happy to sodomize and murder someone.

You are absolutely right Burt!  I am so glad you keep writing stories about these savages.  They are a menace to the entire planet with their murderous way.  They are only too happy to murder and kill anyone who says anything bad about their “religion” or their koran.

I wish more moderate muslims would get out there and speak up and condem their own.  However when they do that they don’t get any air time or print from the lame stream media.  Not newsworthy enough.

Excellent article!  Keep up the good work for people like us who don’t have a voice that anyone can hear!!!!!

Burt, don’t know if you’ve seen this, but it’s worth watching….

Thank you for thinking of me, but I try to avoid watching videos.  I spend so much time on the computer either writing my articles or responding to email from my readers that I have made it a practice to avoid videos, links and attachments.  Otherwise, I would never have a chance to do anything else.

Sorry, but he pretty much says in 5 minutes what you did in the article.

  • Rick Johnson

Amen, Burt. Daily the formerly mainstream media fails us. As for the left, when that non-religious crowd supports a religion – LOOK OUT!

    • BurtPrelutsky

You can say that again, Rick.  I guess all the media needs when it comes to religion is one that is as corrupt and disgusting as they are.

Peaceful Muslims are just now starting to speak out – not nearly enough. They are wrapped in with the killers in the name of their religion. Why won’t they stand up more and say their religion is not to kill?

    • http://profile.yahoo.com/M7BS3KOTLWIFPRDNMHPMWVBEFA Jack

Because they cannot get out of the darkness they are wrapped in it for 1400 years. If they want to liberate themselves they know what the Sharia law of Islam requires, their blood. So don’t expect any stand and opposition to the demonic religion  which it has been going on all these years.Besides , The lack of knowledge about those demons and their colt  , made the majority of the Americans an Ostriches burying their heads in the sand of ignorance because first and last they HATE CHRISTIANS, and JEWS. But it is rightousness to defend and stand up for the Muslem Brotherhood and their tails in the Main stream Media the protectors of the Obama decree. Ffact of the matter is we need another Regan to stop and demolish the demonic population from acting anymore and killing the american people whom thay feed them and clothe them and sheltering them in our land. They are the enemy of freedom and democracy ever.

      • Wheels55

You are right, it takes more than tweeting to undo a 1,000+ years of backward.

      • BurtPrelutsky

         As I was saying.

Wheels:  If they said it, who would believe them?  If they want to convince me of their good intentions, they will adopt a different religion.  It seems to me that both Christianity and Judaism offer the same principles, but without the embarrassment of having been started by a blood-thirsty pedophile and carried forth by the human scum responsible for 9/11 and the blowing up of school buses, pizza parlors and Marine barracks.
