By Peter Wehner
President Obama’s interview with Jon Stewart is getting a lot of attention — and deservedly so. There were, I think, several things to note from the interview.
The first is that I wish that most news anchors and reporters were half as good at interviewing the president as Jon Stewart is.
Mr. Wehner claims that Obama’s health care legislation is widely unpopular. Infact, he claims “ObamaCare is one of the most unpopular major pieces of legislation in American history”. Is this true? He offers no proof that it is. He sites no polls, surveys, or any other measure that would indicate a large majority of Americans are against Obamacare. He also makes the assertion that Obama wants people to worship him. I quote Mr. Wehner on writing about Obama “and is particularly dismissive of those who don’t buy into his Narrative of Greatness.” How is he dismissive? In what ways? Can you give me examples, details, proof, before you go spewing biased words? As the post by tommy freedom will show, (this is an example of providing proof) some readers on this website are not very bright. Keep asking inane questions like where’s the birth certificate? It just makes those of you who do, look all the stupider when you talk about BIAS MEDIA.
Proof, examples, details, this is what makes a great journalist.
Assertions, opinions, lack of evidence, this is what makes a bad journalist.
P.S. I am not a liberal
I think the election sent a very loud and clear message about how unpopular Obama’s policies are. No other justification necessary.
