I read several years ago that Trump would wear a red hat or a blue hat to let his 'subjects' know at Maralago, what kind of mood he was in when he 'arose'. I hope we get out of this term unscathed, but I doubt it. Great article Bernie.

I'm sure he bares close resemblance to the owner of Larry David's Golf Club owner on "Curb your Enthusiasm".

Nailed it once again, Bernie! Couldn’t have said it better.

Kimmel has had two Republican guests on his show in three years. So much for free speech and sharing of differing viewpoints.

Bill Maher is vulgar, but I like him for calling out both political parties with his varied guests, and he can be quite funny. Bill is a more common sense guy.

It won’t profit Trump‘s soul either.

That said, it’s not new for leaders to censor information, because the Biden administration. was doing it about Hunter Biden and Covid 19. It doesn’t make it right, and I hate the hypocrisy of both sides calling out the other. Let’s just behave ourselves! But nobody cares what I think, at least nobody in power

The cliche "All is fair in love and war" now includes politics as well. It is ramping up, more fuel on the fire, more bitterness and hatred. Our country has been triaged; simmering down to embers will take years from now since we haven't hit the 'bomb fire' stage quite yet- that may be in Act four. Two weeks til curtain...

Seems to me that Trump is inserting himself with a "I'm in charge" or revenge mindset into nearly everything on a regular, if not daily, basis. Ruining or co-oping issues and events making them about himself when the reasonable person would not do so. Is he transitioning into a megalomaniac right before our eyes.

In all fairness, and just my opinion, is that Sec. of Defense ( Congress has not approved a name change) Pete Hegseth is a megalomanic, or on his way to becoming one. When you inject the word "war" into a title it is a dangerous unnecessary move, and that was Hegseths bright idea.

So so many DO have that observation and opinion of Pres. Trump as of late. Maybe it is over-kill, too much of a good thing, whatever it is, could get out of hand quickly and have the 'rebound- effect'. That is scary to me. The President is way too touchy and thin skinned, always has been. That is his weakness and may come back to haunt him. I sure hope he does the right thing for our country. We all are on pins and needles and the drama is unrelenting.☹️

I freely admit I don't have the knowledge to diagnose personality defects. But I have been around the block enough times to recognize when something is off with someone. And with Trump, significantly off and, IMHO, getting worse.

"Psalm of Life" by Henry Longfellow, the American Poet, hits it home.

Ahhh, "Sunday Christians" they are known as, and their retribution at ANY cost is such a dangerous path to partake. The poor souls are now afflicted with the 'Herd Syndrome' along with 'hate plus' as a predominant symptom, though they accuse their enemies of such behaviour. "Do what I say, and DO what I do, and think like I do" is a fanatical motto to me. Responses NOT reactions would be clever and professional. On the flip side of the coin, there was no one else with bright ideas that could attract enough attention in the public eye. It is out of our hands for now.

I disagree. Kimmel comments were not jokes but very vile narrative. His suspension was pure business. Sinclair and the other distributor received so many complaints that something had to be done.
