I'm wondering why John a good article such as this doesn't show up in the NY Times or Fox News. But then I remember they have a conspiracy problem. Anyways, I enjoyed reading this and keep up the good work.
"Trump's lack of character " ? How much character does Trump need in order to impress a leftist who is all for murdering the unborn?
Leftists and democrats would be well advised to steer clear of any commentary that touches on morality or patriotism. "Stand up if you believe American citizens are more important than illegal aliens ".
Show me another famous billionaire willing to leave his cushy world of adulation and enter politics as a republican and take on a hostile liberal media and devil may care leftists. Lack of character? Nonsense!

Let's start with some level-setting, Craig...
I'm not a leftist. I'm a pro-life conservative.
Trump, on the other hand, is pro-choice. He's been pro-choice his entire life, except for a four-year stretch during which he was convinced by Republican advisors that he needed the political support of the pro-life movement. In the decades prior to his political career, he was a celebrity millionaire/billionaire playboy who casually cheated on all three of his wives, proudly described himself as "very pro-choice," and in all likelihood paid for a number of abortions himself. He officially reclaimed his pro-choice position during his 2024 presidential run, and upon being elected, made leftist RFK Jr. (who's very pro-abortion) his HHS Secretary. Trump admin 2.0 has effectively thrown the pro-life movement under the bus, and they're not at all happy about it.

Just so I understand, you're saying this in defense of Donald Trump? The same Donald Trump who bangs porn stars (while his wife is nursing their newborn), posts blasphemous pictures of himself as Jesus, celebrates the deaths of his political opponents, tried to overturn U.S. democracy (because he got his feelings hurt), didn't care if his vice president's life was in danger, and lies practically every time he's in front of a microphone or keyboard? That Donald Trump?
Anyway, I (a pro-life conservative -- unlike Trump) brought up Trump's objective lack of character in this column only to make the point that he has done a lot to make people distrust him.
>>Show me another famous billionaire willing to leave his cushy world of adulation and enter politics as a republican and take on a hostile liberal media and devil may care leftists.
Donald Trump's net worth has doubled since he entered politics. Becoming president (an office that comes with far more adulation and power that he could have ever enjoyed as celebrity businessman) was the most financially lucrative decision he's ever made.
Now, do you have any thoughts on actual points I made in my column?

Thanks! The FAKE NEWS is trying to take me down, and I won't let them!

Claiming the Butler attempt was staged ranks in intelligence with claiming the sun won't come up tomorrow.
I don't think it's quite THAT bad. Lol.
Well....probably not.....:))
Well said!
