I look forward to our time together in 2026. As a retired person, I have more time to search for accurate news. You folks are one of my main sources for news analysis. I do not envy those working individuals with family obligations who would welcome time to pursue factual information. My fear is the number of people who do not care.

Thanks Benn! And Happy New Year to you!

I so think most Americans are too busy in their lives to search for factual information. And sadly, as you kind of suggested, I think a lot simply don't care. The just want their biases confirmed, facts be damned.

This felt like a good double-episode. Overall good breakdown of the topics.

About the only prediction I would make is that as/if Trump approvals drop and more people once in his camp distance themselves with him his public displays of self-love, denial of reality and cruelty will increase.

This review of 2025 and future "look ahead" was interesting and informative as I, too, see a danger in the rhetoric of the voices so opinionated and vile, provoking violence among the gullable: Rhetoric and verbiage does matter! " Fodder for Fools," skeptical vs. cynical are inciting bad behaviors in the minds of the dysregulated emotionally unstable to the point it is an abuse all its own. Yes, journalists are truly a target; how twisted this is to name them our enemies of America. The ignorant and the low information voters are too gullible and are being taken advantage of with that "R" word: Rhetoric.
