He told Republicans meeting in New Orleans that, “shooting three-point shots may be clever, but it doesn’t put anybody to work.” It was a reference to President Obama’s televised shoot-out with CBS sports analyst and former basketball star Clark Kellogg during the network’s coverage of the NCAA Men’s Basketball Championship.
