Trump is often sickening. I wish he were not President. I also wish we had been given a more tolerable choice than Kamala Harris or Biden, if he had stayed in the race as he really wanted. But we have a two party system, and one of the two is going to win. I have cast protest votes for third party candidates, but that is an exercise of extremely limited value.
We have all the awfulness of Trump, we don't have chaos at the border. We have Trump's lies, but we don't have "my son did not do anything wrong" statements from Biden any more. We have concern about Trump's cognitive capacity, but he speaks with the press and has vastly more impromptu interviews than his predecessor. Not getting that we don't want our girls losing out on athletic awards to biological men doesn't make us like Trump's negative side, but honestly folks......
Imagine Tim Walz advising President Kamala Harris on immigration. Even more scary than Trump 47, for many of us. We could go on and on.
Everything Bernie has criticized about Trump in this article, and others, is on target. Maybe the Democrats will give us a sane candidate in 2028, but don't bet on it. We already have the 2021-25 experience of seeing that a supposed moderate handed over his party to the nut wing, and that is why we got Trump 47.
I do not believe a day goes by wherein Trump and/or one of his main administrations ars-kissers does not openly demonstrate their utter lack of qualifications to hold any public office and also show it is possible for humanity to quickly devolve.
If our President got rid of that "jackass" Stephen Miller and the dopey Kristi Noem he'd have more positive feedback. Include Pam Bondi- she's made a complete mess and fool of herself in her amateurish verbiage. Marco Rubio and Tom Homan are by far excellent servants to the President.

Congress has the power to reel in the Executive branch. It's a decent bet they won't.
