I have no interest in the Superbowl halftime show or the TPUSA Kid Rock alternative. However, I would tune in if Zander Kelly would again interview Joe Dirt and Brandy!

Sir John —-Anthony Kazmierczak may just be some type of loon. Nonetheless, if he were some type of diehard MAGA then I believe that the mainstream media would be smearing his photo everywhere as the face of the evil MAGA movement. That, however, is not happening. In fact, very little information about the man’s life and family and living arrangement has gone unreported (as opposed to when Vance Boelter was apprehended).

The unknown substance didn’t seem to concern Omar at the time;

It turned out to be apple ciders vinegar and it was sprayed on her clothing NOT in her face, which is what someone genuinely trying to cause damage would do ;

Nobody checked immediately if the substance was dangerous to the crowd or not—- the meeting continued with business as usual

As for why the assailant would risk serious prison time : if a deal were made to benefit the family and a guarantee of probation or a pardon were in the mix, then I could see the possibility. I don’t like indulging in conspiracies, but that’s exactly what Jussie Smollet did, and he suffered very little negative consequences and not only refuses to admit his own actions but there are partisan hacks who still “stand with Jussie” so yes I do believe some conspiracies are genuine

Probably. It also would have been a bigger story if what he threw was more dangerous than apple cider.

>>In fact, very little information about the man’s life and family and living arrangement has gone unreported (as opposed to when Vance Boelter was apprehended).

That guy murdered multiple people, Emperor. A little different.

>>The unknown substance didn’t seem to concern Omar at the time;

How deeply would it have concerned you? Especially if there was no pain involved?

Here's my perspective: I'm obviously not an elected leader, and don't have nearly the public profile of someone like Omar. But I am a political writer and podcaster, whose words have angered more deranged people that any of the readers here would have any reason to know. I've received death threats, and other threats of physical harm (from people on both the left and right). I also do public appearances (with no security), related to both politics and my fiction writing. If someone came up to me at one of those appearances, and squirted something on me, I'd certainly be taken back, but I'm not sure I'd have freaked out unless my skin started burning, or something of that nature. Would my reaction suggest a hoax? How about if I pushed back on the person? Hoax then? I can't imagine that would be what reasonable people would speculate.

>>it was sprayed on her clothing NOT in her face, which is what someone genuinely trying to cause damage would do ;

You're not even considering bad aim, especially while in movement? And if his plan was to cause damage, wouldn't he have used something other than apple cider?

>>Nobody checked immediately if the substance was dangerous to the crowd or not—- the meeting continued with business as usual

Because she was in no pain, and no one else was affected.

>>As for why the assailant would risk serious prison time : if a deal were made to benefit the family and a guarantee of probation or a pardon were in the mix, then I could see the possibility.

Who would guarantee probation or a pardon? Other people in on the conspiracy? All of this political corruption and perversion of our legal system, just for a video clip of Omar composing herself well?

>>I don’t like indulging in conspiracies,

I think you do, actually. Lol.

>> but that’s exactly what Jussie Smollet did,

No. Jussie counted on his fake assailants never being caught, because if they were, the hoax would be exposed for all to see. Omar's assailant didn't even make an attempt to flee. He was arrested, and she pressed charges, which is now putting him through the entire legal and fact-finding process.

>>and he suffered very little negative consequences

He was blackballed from his profession, and paid a legal price as well: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jussie_Smollett#2019_hate_crime_hoax

Should he have faced harsher consequences? Probably, but that's a separate topic.

>>and not only refuses to admit his own actions but there are partisan hacks who still “stand with Jussie” so yes I do believe some conspiracies are genuine

I'm aware of that, similar to literally millions of partisan hacks on the right who've stood with a more high-profile and consequential hoax-peddler, who's still lying about the hoax, and was indicted for multiple federal crimes (some related to that hoax). And that guy suffered even fewer consequences than Jussie! Heck, he was rewarded with a second term in the nation's highest office afterwards. Go figure.

It's amazing the fantasies and bad actors that some people still stand by, Emperor.

John: I’m reading an interesting book about the history of commodities trading (sexy, right?) and it struck me how many collectivist economies were saved by old fashioned capitalism. In Cuba once the USSR collapsed in the early 90’s, Castro was quietly saved by oil traders shipping crude from faraway places, replenishing their energy supply. A decade later, China opened up their economy to trade from throughout the world, and their standard of living has grown by leaps and bounds. Today, Venezuela tells its own tragic tale of the closed system of socialism. These socialist/communists don’t even believe their own BS about collectivism. Why should we believe their DSA cousins now in fashion in deep blue America?
