I think there's no potentially 'viable' candidate that would seem a better choice. I also think that if a Trump family member decided to enter the race, they'd likely win the nomination in a landslide.
Had not thought about a family member getting in the race. Kushner maybe? The rest don't seem viable to me. None are the 'old man's' peer in my estimation. And yes, I realized you are not the least bit fond of a lot of what he does and says nor most of the people he 'employs'. But I find Victor Davis Hansen's 'Trump take' quite interesting.
Kushner wouldn't be the guy. MAGA would want someone in the Trump bloodline.
Regarding viability, I'm talking about the nomination, not the general election. A Trump offspring would have a much easier time than Rubio winning the nomination, but a harder time winning the general election.
Another great session. Keep up the good work.
Thanks Benn!
The support for Rubio has more to do with who else might be on the ballot. There is no current potential candidate that would seem a better choice.

The script of another Trump in office could only be written by Rod Serling!
Agreed.
