Never going to happen- the list will stay covert for obvious reasons. They released some names back when, remember? Even Prince Andrew was on it.

You're probably right. Investigating a child sex trafficking ring ought to be agreed to by everyone. But it seems that there may be a bipartisan effort to squelch it.

Mystery #2: Will Maxwell release any information to the public? Human trafficking is a very serious crime, according to Homeland Security, and the public wants closure .

Yesterday Bill O'Reilly said that Pam Bondi ought to hold a news conference where she tells what she knows about the Epstein case but for giving names. For example, what was on her desk waiting to be read, and what did it say (without names)?

I’ve been long critical of Mr. O'Reilly's many factual inaccuracies and his disingenuous and continuous claims of being a straight-arrow, however on this matter I agree with him.

I further think that at this news conference Bondi should announce that she is turning over all her documents related to Epstein to a special counsel. The special counsel should be someone who is not in the political fray, who does not go on news shows or talk radio and who is not identified with or beholden to any partisan interests or figures and who is not afraid of the tribal slings and arrows and the “whataboutisms” that will almost inevitably come his way if a tribal member is implicated or if an opposing tribal member is not implicated. The named special counsel probably should be subject to Senate confirmation.

The special counsel should be instructed to protect the identities and reputations of individuals or entities that had dealings with Epstein but had nothing to do with his child trafficking or any other illegal activities or who had no knowledge of this.

Otherwise, the special counsel should let the axe fall.

Howdy Integrity! I'm flattered that you think I'm able to conduct an intensive and a straight down the middle investigation. Can I prove you wrong? All I can say is that I wouldn't' like the confirmation process - I might ruffle feathers on a bipartisan basis - and I wouldn't like the aftermath, if you know what I mean. :) Hope you're well

John: In January I shook my head at most Trump cabinet appointees. However, I do think we have two adults in the room; serious, qualified people who are statesmen and good for the country - Scott Bessent (Secretary of the Treasury) and Marco Rubio (Secretary of State). Apparently Democratic senators agreed. The Senate approved Bessent 68-29 and Rubio 99-0. Do you agree about Bessent and Rubio? Are there any more cabinet appointees you would add to the "serious and qualified" list?

Tom Homan seems to be up there on my list. Rubio is so so 'poker-faced' and just stares off somewhere. Hmmm, something's not right with that look all of the time; have my suspicions.

Obama was hamstrung by the Republican legislature from the beginning on his initiatives and for the first time the legislature used the debt ceiling as a weapon to curb his success. Trump then spent more in his 4 years than Obama in his 8 years. Biden spent his share and now Trump adds trillions to the debt over 10 years. Looking at the country's output, Democrats do not start recessions, they end up cleaning up afterwards. This both sides do it narrative is not accurate.

Good movies lately? 'Phoenician Scheme" was quirky, but very entertaining. A flashback I saw was "Dr. StrangeLove", a B&W from 1963; excellent entertainment.
