John...the government ad is a disgrace for all the reasons you pointed out! There is no limit to the self-promotional aspect of Donald Trump. I agree he does not care about the Republicans in congress or the party...only his loyalists. And you can only be on his 'good side' id you unequivocally agree with everything he says and does. Applaud him for the good things he has accomplished (there are a few), but stand up to him when he does unconstitutional, stupid, unethical, or down right insane things! Also, I need to look back on specific things Michael Moore has said or touted in the past to understand more fully the parallel to JD Vance. The only person in Trump's current administration I like or would vote for in the 2028 Presidential election is Marco Rubio. Thanks again for you honest opinions.

I assume Trump's "they're going to make a deal right after the mid-terms" is a con, just like the $5K checks. In other words, he has no solution, but promises basically, "vote for the GOP, and don't worry, everything will work out quickly". The POTUS version of "trust me, bro".

Greeeings Lord McCann—Your speculations are the reason why I fear for this country. The Republicans kowtow to a bombastic narcissist whose ego seems to be all thats’s important to him rather than what the nation he leads,

And the Dems have been hijacked by woke communists who hate the nation. Them I see the one brave Democrat named John Fetterman stand up to the woke wickedness, then ALL the Dems treat him as a pariah. I find that interesting, because many of those same Dems LOVED John McCain when they saw HIM as a brave “Maverick” standing up to W. & the Republican Party instead of toeing the line. Yes I see Hypocrisy in both parties, but I guess it’s wrong only “when the other side does it.”

Have a great day in the Empire, Lord McCann

As you two bask in the glow of your make-believe monarchy, I picture it more of a Fractured Fairy Tale as told by Edward Everett Horton!

In that case I bestow on you the title of Lord Bullwinkle, voiced by the ever popular Bill SCOTT!

(See what I did there?)

Welcome to the Empire, Lord Bullwinkle.

His Utmost Excellency, The Emperor, has spoken!

Humility. Smart people know that being right isn't the goal, learning and evolving are. They ask more questions than they answer, and they're open to being surprised.

John: I want to ask you today about income inequality. Bernie Sanders thinks the difference in wealth between top and bottom is a self-evident issue, so much so that he and his cohorts want to massively change the structure of the U.S. economy. I have often thought this issue stems from the sin of envy and is an excuse for a hard left political and economic takeover. What do I care how much money Bill Gates or Elon Musk make, especially if the bottom 20% also continue to raise their standard of living? However, there is some merit to the argument that top income earners and wealth holders bid the price up for housing and other durable and luxury goods. What are your thoughts about the issue of income inequality and basic affordability for the average American?

John, isn't the poverty rate being manipulated by the Feds. who adjust the monetary amounts that determine the poverty level? Our president states the poverty level is the lowest it's been in many many decades, but doesn't that depend on where the goalposts are being set? According to DSS, they tell me the Federal Government sets the standards and rates. We are being gaslit with faulty information again.
