Bernie and John, please never stop fighting. Subscribers mean nothing in this day and age. Your loyal followers are with you guys. Even though I'm a Chris Christie Republican, I voted for Kamala. You guys rightfully criticized Kamala when it was appropriate. One thing's for sure - you will never lose me as a subscriber. Keep fighting the good fight, guys.

Bernie, perhaps my singing your praises (and John's) will improve your mood. You and John are (pardon the academic pomposity) sui generis. At a time of extreme political polarization, you are a valued voice of honesty, open-mindedness, and cool reason. You lambaste mindless MAGA types as well as brain-dead supporters of Biden and Harris (who seem brain-dead themselves). Our country needs you, and there are people like myself who are rooting you on. Bernie, you were always my favorite guest on The O'Reilly Factor. You rightly called out hypocrisy and bias on the Left, but weren't afraid to call it out on the Right when you saw it. I continued to follow you online after O'Reilly left Fox. I became a paid subscriber after I realized that I was wasting my time watching FNC, sometime during the pandemic. It became obvious to me that I was no longer watching "news with a right leaning POV", but just rank propaganda. You guys don't do that here, which is why I check in every day.

Your disgust is well earned. Take some time and do like John with some time in nature to decompress and forget about this stuff for a spell.

Sir Bernie & Sir John—-I just KNOW that the two of you have been waiting with baited breath (whatever the hell that is) for the All -Benevolent ruler to weigh in on this situation.

First —-thank you for the compliments to the regulars who have not abandoned ship, but who stick by you even when we may disagree. While I’m glad to purchase memberships for for friends and acquaintances, I sadly cannot purchase something for people with closed minds (in both partisan camps). .

That said, here’s what I miss the most from the old Sir Bernie—-I miss you answering our questions on Friday! I appreciate Sir John’s sober and genuine commentary, but I also miss your witty snark, especially to John D, Mr. Hadley, and myself. Even when you rather irreverently referred to me as “Your Hineyness” or insisted that John D. & I must have forgotten to take our meds, I always enjoyed your comments on our questions, and I miss it!

I hope you return from the great state of Trumpaho to the Friday Q&A and continue the hanky lanky commentary in your responses that the Empire so longingly misses.

His Utmost Excellency, The Emperor, has spoken!

President Trump wanted the European Union to do more for Ukraine. And they are doing more now since the president made it a big issue. I still support the US supporting Ukraine. Hopefully it will come about.

I keep hearing about how many illegal’s Obama deported, but what I don’t remember is the partisan political and media hate, and nationwide protests / blocking of ICE Agents. when he was doing it.

And he didn’t inherit the Border mess Trump did. Trump has his faults, but he ran on this. Is this more about hating Trump, or his deportation policy moving too quickly. Personally, I’m for letting the illegal’s good for this country stay, and getting the people bad for it, out. KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK John and Bernie!

The Right ideologues hardly mentioned it because that wouldn't fit their anti-Obama narrative - although O'Reilly did admit it in one of his screeds against Pres. Obama's policies encouraging illegal immigration.

Guess why the Left ideologues hardly mentioned it?

Do you have a link to the complete Senator Padilla episode? I couldn't find it on cable - not even on Fox or NewsMax. I've seen the video from the ejection of him over a dozen times.

You guys were very interesting.

I can understand your dilemma. I can’t speak for anyone else except myself. BERNIE, the reason why I signed up for your comments is because I admired you. When you made comments years before.

Now, I feel that you have changed. I get the impression you hate Donald Trump. And it shows in your comments on the no BS zone.

I like the old Bernie and I’m sure your other constituents. Enjoy the old BERNIE.

I want to say this about the illegal immigrants that may consist of 21 million. The Democrats know what they were doing. When the 2030 census comes, it will count all the illegal aliens. In that count of 21 million illegal aliens they will get representative by the US Congress. The sanctuary states in cities will benefit from this and change the demographics.

Since most of the illegal aliens are in Democrat control states, will benefit by the 2030 census.

I would like to hear from both of you regarding the 2030 census.

I signed up in the no BS zone because of Bill O’reilly. You were a guest commentator and Bill O’reilly endorse you.

I do get upset on your hateful comments about President Trump, but I will still stay in tune.

My personal opinion is that President Trump will be the best president after Abraham Lincoln. Only the future well my opinion be proven.

I know what I upset you and John daily by saying that.

Again, Conrad, Bernie didn't change. The political right (likely including you) changed.

When Bernie was a Fox News contributor, he was typically asked by Fox hosts (usually O'Reilly) to comment on liberal-media bias and other left-wing excesses. Because he had plenty of criticism to offer on that front, many on the right (including you) apparently mistook that for him being a loyal partisan ally/hack (though Bernie, even back then, offered stinging criticism of righties when he felt they deserved it).

The Republican party and nearly all of the conservative-media completely transformed under Donald Trump, largely abandoning their conservative platform, their respect for the Constitution, and almost all of their long-held principles and standards of decency.

Folks like you expected Bernie to follow suit, but he didn't... because he's not a hack. He's a man of principle. Thus, the Modern Right, which in many ways mirrors the Left from about 20 years ago (and even sectors of today's Left), has drawn more criticism from him than the pre-Trump Right did.

Your use of the word "hate" is just one example. Lefties routinely accused Bernie of "hating" Obama for 8 years, because they couldn't deal with valid criticism of their guy. The same goes for you, and other Trump enthusiasts. If you can't accept legitimate criticism of your guy, your refuge is to cast his critics as haters.

Just one of many reasons why political tribalism sucks.

Thanks. It's nothing personal with Conrad. It's just frustrating to me, as someone who's written for this site for almost 15 years, and was familiar with Bernie's work long before that, to hear people claim he's changed. He hasn't. He's one of the very few media-conservatives (and conservatives in general) who demonstrably hasn't.

And that is the number one reason WHY I subscribed to this site - precisely BECAUSE Bernie has NOT changed.

Who on the Left accused Bernie of hating President Obama? I didn't think Bernie hated him, nor do I remember Bernie being accused of such. Yes, there was (correct) talk of Obama Derangement Syndrome, but I don't remember anyone aiming that talk at Bernie. And yes, there were many, myself included, who strongly disagreed with Bernie's criticism of President Obama, but I don't remember any accusing him of actually hating Obama. Hate is a base emotion that weighs on a person's psyche and overrides reason.

On NewsMax, this pundit or anchor (what's the difference?) insisted that the MN shooter was a partisan Democrat. What was his evidence? That one of the MN state legislators who were gunned down took the Republican's side on one issue and that Gov. Walz had once appointed the shooter for something or other.
