I suggest you read "Too Much and Not Enough" by Mary Trump, Trump's niece. Once you do, you'll realize that Trump's behavior is inherited. He comes from a family where this type of behavior is commonplace. He's used to getting his own way in both his personal as well as his business dealings. Look up the definition of "BULLY" in the dictionary and you'll see Trump's picture underneath it!

A POTUS is always in a unique position to lead and inspire. Not just base supporters, but well beyond. Unfortunately, Trump can't help but be who he has always been but can't fathom, a real stinker. He more often than not sinks below an occasion or opportunity rather than encourage "the better angles of our nature." Regardless of others’ behavior, it is still wrong and further cheapens the Presidency and all of us!

As usual, you nailed it, Bernie!

Sir Bernie—-it is my understanding that Jimmy Kimmel‘s ratings were very low anyway. I don’t know why Trump would even need to threaten the network since it appears that the audiences were offended by Kimmel‘s remarks about Charlie Kirk as well so let the chips fall where they may. That said, I have to wonder how many people who are watching Jimmy Kimmel on that return episode watched him very much up to that point. Similar to all the people who hadn’t eaten at Cracker Barrel for years, threatening, the boycott them over a logo.

BERNIE, you need to stop reading the New York Times. Everything they exposes is what you spouses.

Should he only watch Fox "News" and "News"Max?

John, I signed up for New York Times. I wanted to know first and if they were liberal or not. They are one of the reasons this country is messed up.

I also watched Fox News and Newsmax. They don’t expose hate. New York Times does.

Bill O’Reilly stated that the View and Fallon completely exclude Conservatives from their programs. Liz Chaney is the only Republican allowed guest and that was to talk about January sixth. How is excluding fifty percent of your potential audience a good marketing strategy?

John A. Daly's avatar

It's not good marketing strategy, and it's assuredly cost the networks money. But that's a separate topic from the government getting involved.

Quick note: Fallon had Greg Gutfeld on. Gutfeld hasn't been a conservative for a long time, but he's as MAGA as they come.

Michael Jordan famously said when asked to endorse a Democratic candidate for the Senate: "Republicans buy sneakers too." So, no, excluding half the country is NOT a good marketing strategy. And it's one reason late night "comedy" shows have such low ratings.

@ John Daly, John is yours and Bernie's videos and commentary visible to non-subscribers? The reason I ask is because many I would like to share, but if nonmembers can't see them it doesn't seem to make much sense.

John A. Daly's avatar

Hi Tim. I just made this one public, so you can share it.

I suggest all are made available and you can comment if you pay. Just my 2 Cents.

I don't think the comment section alone would motivate many to upgrade to a paid subscription. We've got to keep some content exclusive to the those supporting the site.

Thanks, Tim. Much appreciated, my friend.
