Guys like Trump are unable to recognize in themselves the frailties that come with age. To the day he dies he will see himself as 10' tall, bulletproof and never wrong regardless of overwhelming proof to the contrary. I can't see him giving up his power, even from behind a curtain, without an "at all costs" fight. His type has also been known to also become a Nero rather than let someone else take over. Good God I hope I'm wrong!
I hope you're wrong too Scott. But he's being laying the groundwork to challenge or otherwise contest the results of the "rigged" mid-terms and also the 2028 general election even if he's not a candidate and things go badly for the GOP!
‘I’ve long argued that Trump doesn’t care much about the make-up of Congress (beyond ridding it of insufficiently loyal Republicans).” I have been saying the same thing for a long time … all Trump cares about is … Trump. Well written, John. Aloha, Mike
John, a question for you. Would VP Vance follow the footsteps of Pres Trump's agenda if for some reason he does not (Trump) finish his term, or would he be more of a moderate?
John, I believe a scenerio Steve Bannon was hinting to is this: the country will be in such a flux that someway, somehow they can withhold or stall, or delay the elections and leave Pres. Trump in power, even if for a limited stretch. I personally do not see him completing his term now as his health is seeming to take a toll with no personal regard to it on his part at all. His eyes are really showing some internal problem brewing. Just my opinion.
