Sadly, you may be right. GOPers are knee-jerk reacting to the disappointing mid-term results, which is to say, they are being honest about what they really think of Trump. However, once the next round of polling comes out, IF it shows that the GOP base still has their heads up Trump's derriere, expect the same cowardly behavior from the GOP regulars that we saw after J6.
