I happen to be a staunch conservative, but Donald Trump frequently gives conservatives a bad name. First of all, the man is NOT a very eloquent speaker; not by a long shot, "These are horrible people" is one of his frequent epithets, and "the likes of which nobody's ever seen before" is another of his constant "go-to" catch phrases. On the other hand, I can find little fault with the actions he's taken, and the policies that he's implemented. Closing the southern border was a huge win, not only for the Republican Party, but for the entire country as well. And if he is somehow able to find a solution for the years-long conflict between Israel and Hamas, the man could conceivably win the Nobel Peace Prize. The question will be who will be his successor in 2028? If J.D. Vance wants it, he could very well be the front runner. That will be the big question. But if he does, I've already got his campaign slogan......"I'm going to keep all of Donald Trumps policies in place, "But I AIN'T TRUMP!"
Robert, I consider myself a Chris Christie Republican. The border is one of the best accomplishments currently in this administration. However, he said he would end the Ukraine-Russia War on Day 1. We are at Day 169. His foreign policy has not been working although I do give him credit for obliterating (if that's really true) Iran's nuclear facilities.
Ethan, Chris Christie lost his opportunity to be president when he was governor of New Jersey. I was pulling wholeheartedly for him, but he failed to see the opportunity.
President Trump said he would end the Ukraine Russian war on day one. What he meant to say is I will be working on day one to end the Ukraine Russian war. President Trump does make some verbal clerical mistake but only verbal clerical mistakes.
Robert, the next president I think that has a lot of competition than JD Vance is Little Marco. Marco is looking A very big Marco! Also, there is a possibility of a duplication of the Adams families. John and John Quincy Adams.
Donald J Trump and Donald
J Trump Junior?
Robert, I am 81 years old and I hope to live to see the next presidential election!
News corporations are bowing the knee to Trump. I refuse to watch cable news anymore. I only watch NewsNation. They keep it real. I would call out the news corps if Biden was doing the exact same thing.
Bernie, none of this is going to turn out well, no matter how it ends. The media is so overdue for a spanking for its unbalanced, yup, biased, take on most things Trump. And, fir the record,I’m not a big fan of the President.
While this case is somewhat unsettling, you and I both know the magic we can turn in an edit room. This case certainly isn’t unprecedented. CBS just got caught in a phase of incredibly bad timing.
How much information and truth was withheld, screened, “edited” about our border as some 10-plus million came into the country. Legacy media told us day after day there was no problem as their consulted and marketed media machines fed its key demographics the stories they wanted to hear to further loyalties. Lies? Yeah, some. Editing? Bias? Oh hell yes.
The media owes this country some answers far beyond why Kamala might have had a seemingly harmless slick edit job make air. It needs to tell us where the curiosity went. Where the balance is hiding these days. Where the once shiny integrity of their vision and values is closeted.
If CBS, ABC, or NBC told me the sky was blue, I’d question their motive. If FOX told me it was blue I’d know Trump was now selling blue paint.
Without a media that can be trusted, how much much better off are we than having a government run propaganda machine? And, fir the record, that trust didn’t go away in a flash nor is it returning on a rocket sled.
It's always important to check your sources. Cable news is outdated. I only watch NewsNation and I do not second guess their motives. They are purely fact based, especially Chris Cuomo.
I actually have been a Concierge Member for a few years now. I got to meet him in person earlier this year and chatted it up with him. Great guy and an honest one
Agree totally Bernie and I support that news organizations have this constitutional right to edit. But didn't you have a little inkling here that maybe there was a little bias related to their edit? I did. I'm thinking of a great journalist who once said that most in the press have their bias but don't know it. I think he wrote a book by that name.
Bernie, I love that you aren't afraid to speak your mind. You are your own boss. Keep telling it like it is. Truth matters more than subscribers.

With that victory Trump is as happy as a puppy dog with two peters, but only for a while!

Ethan, TRY Bill O’reilly’s no spin news. He’s the most honest guy out there a news.

This settlement is awful. Chilling effect. On the same page as Bernie.
Imagine the outrage if Biden did this to conservative outlets.
BERNIE, you should’ve handled that differently. I mean this column.
You should’ve started off how clever President Trump was and maybe made some sarcastic remarks.
But
You came strong on HATE and that is not the old BERNIE I know from the past. BERNIE you seem to be losing your grip of cleverness.
I still admire you, BERNIE.

I would love to see an unedited version of Trump's pre-recorded interviews that he does on Fox News. It would show the exact same thing.
I agree. But I don't believe it's necessary in Trumps case. He blasts out anything in his head editing or not.
